I have several clarus, st. croix, g-loomis rods and this rod I would rank close to them. The action is great, it casts with great ease and the power of it is unexpected. It wasn't from fishing that it broke, it was from me not being careful with it and banged it against the ceiling breaking the tip. I'll be buying another one soon. I used it exclusively in saltwater for two years before I used it in fresh so as long as you take care of the rod and give it a good rinse afterwards it will last for a very long time. So I would say get one for the price it is by far the best in it's price class. |
